This is the recording by Steve Chau in an album entitled Golden Memory Guitar Selections Vol.3 recorded in 1990. I tried to look for more information about this musician but no luck, not even a picture of him. If anyone out there knows him, please let me know.

  • Apart from being a regular soloist, Chau also engages in the performance of chamber music in European and Asian countries. Chau is always busy in composing and arranging guitar music and he is currently the guitar teacher in the Hong Kong Institute of Education and the Hong Kong Music Institute.

Stephen Chau started playing classical guitar in 1980 and won the first prize in the classical section of Hong Kong Guitar Competition in 1982. In the same year, he was admitted to the Hong Kong Music Institute, majoring in classical guitar performance and completed his four-year diploma course in 1986.

  • Sorry, actually I got the doubt after I posted it :-)

The painting is from Rosso Fiorentino and is exposed at Gli Uffizi museum in Florence.

It's in the room 27, second floor, if you mind to visit :-)

Since I am from Florence of course it's an age I don't go there :-D

  • Come on, it's a very famous Tiziano painting, it's basically copied in tons of furnitures from jigsaws to frames, try to get some culture :-P
