@tempac91 You can use anything for the guards. get some towels and put on leg, put a piece of plastic board on top (cut it out from aplastic bin or something) and strap the thing with a bit of cloth. Ghetto shinguards :) . Be a creator not a consumer.

@YesWeCain8 I get it. But it should be taken in consideration. Not just bodyweight/strength ratio. Why the rules at all than? Winner should be the one who moves heaviest weight than.

What do you call the stuff he has around his shin to protect them? Shin guards? I wanna buy a pair but don't know the term to look for.

Coach for the "average" population (non prof athletes) do u have them do deadlifts after squats ? or on a different day u dont squat and do deadlifts ?

@bigarnold74 To broad a question to answer. Depends on goals, time available to train, age, lifting history, etc.
