@Qpd1971 A friend of mine was drafted for Vietnam. While serving, a child ran up to them with a grenade, about to pull it in a kamikaze attack, and he was forced to shoot the child. To this day he's never let himself forget it, or forgiven himself.
@jagovRUS agreed! I guess it made people watching really want him to get killed. No matter how bad I got in a war I could never kill a child it's a total coward move.
@Qpd1971 That's what I didn't like about that. It was such a cheap move to make him 'the bad guy' - killing a little kid. If it weren't for that, he'd have been as much as a brave soldier as any one of the 'good guy's in the film.

@TheRationReviewer obviously it would depend on the situation. What your friend did HAD to be done what he did to the kid in the movie was barbaric.
