@workatthefarm i've turned around over the past 3 months, i like beefheart's original better, beefheart owns, but the white stripes will never lose it for me, they introduced this kind of "free expression" music to me as a teen, i would never have heard of beefheart, being dutch euro-trash, without the stripes, and the same goes for a lot of people....

sounds like this party I went to once, they kicked me out...they said I was special but I dont think they ment it in a good way.

The White Stripes' version is much more raw, reverbed, violent, dirty.
This is more funky, layed-down, it has style, it's almost sensual.
They're both really good.
