These two SRPD officers have killed two unarmed men this year and wonder why we don't feel like talking to them...

This is a good example of police attempting to get information about a subject, without any reasonable suspicion for detainment, through "casual conversation." But unless you are being detained, there is no reason to speak to police. Many law enforcement encounters start out with casual conversation resulting in detention, and sometimes arrest, because of information given freely by a subject to police during this stage of interaction, when not only do you not have to speak with officers, but you are free to leave.

Also, Santa Rosa Copwatch avoids asking police many questions during legal observation. Generally we limit our conversations with police to asking why someone is being arrested if it's not clear, or requesting name and badge number, as per Santa Rosa city code, which states that both must be provided upon request.

Haki Thurston, had a warrant for his arrest for murder, also wanted in a assault rifle hiest..... Oakland PD advised SRPD that he was possibly in posession of the murder waepon which was a gun. Evertime thes cops pull someone over whether it be for Speeding, or Drunk driving, they ARE risking there life.

I have seen countless videos of police getting shot in the face for merely pulling over a person with a tail light out. it was just them either, it was 4 SRPD and 2 SRPD swat that fired shots.
