Here are excerpts from George Rostov's performance at 'The Smoking Dog Club' at The Command House in Chatham. Alas, poor George only realised afterwards that he'd yet again gone out in his mother's dress that she'd stolen from Oxfam some time in the 1970's. The crowd consisted mostly of sweaty Stuckists and frumpy middle-aged women who clearly hadn't heard of botox OR Tenna Lady, and needless to say, Rostov's pearl necklace didn't exactly go down too well.
Chico-Chico from Puerto Rico, the poet's rather taciturn houseboy was on hand to record the event, that will no doubt be as legendary as Woodstock, The Beatles' first tour of America, and the opening of Tesco in Harrow High Street.
