Thanks so much, Smelly !
Your ability to pass-on knowledge is a genuine talent & a demonstration that you do care about ALL students by going out-of-your-way to make it easy enough for even beginners to learn from you. Playing slowly and calling-out the chords is HALLMARK of a - r e a l - teacher !

you are very good... I have a 75 gibson, and i enjoy the old tunes!
-
Close but the lead part is wrong on a few notes.

@saturntown This song was wrote in less than a hour...all instruments ...
Grace also tried to slip powder LSD in to Nixons tea but was stopped before getting in.... her whole band was on the FBI watch list!!
She said she had it in her pocket and planned on scooping it under her long finger nails and with the wave of a hand giving him a high dose!! She said she just wanted to hear him talking nonsense and watch him curl in to a ball and hide in the corner!! Love that!!

what effects is he using?
-
Thx!))

If this is an instructional video, you need to go slower and explain more thoroughly the steps. Especially when you explain the intro and seeing your fingers and what fret they are on is not the easiest thing on a youtube video.

@retropancakeful
Hi! Anytime you can practice on an acoustic is time well spent because you build up finger strength doing it. So, Doc votes yes! Peace (and thanks for watching), Doc

Grace Slick said that just before writing that song, she listened to Miles Davis and Gil Evans' "Sketches of Spain" 50 times in a row. Sketches of Spain is a free-form serene melody played over a bolero march. The band gave White Rabbit more rock drive, but the bolero-style march is still in it, and her voice gave the melody an intense flow like you get in Sketches of Spain. The song is just a series of chords, but within them lies an ability to inspire a listener's imagination. A classic.
