Learn more about the 2012 Focus Electric: http://www.ford.com/electric/focuselectric/2012/ . Ford wants your feedback on the way its electric vehicles sound. Which word would you use to describe this version?
*These example sounds are not necessarily correct for the vehicle's speed as shown in the video. Please focus on the sound character, rather than on the sound volume or imagined "speed".
I say go with B, stay away from the high pitched whine. At least B is a bit ocean-like.

make it have a V8 sound so the focus, aswell as electric cars, can finally grow balls

They are all too high-pitched. For those of us with sensitive hearing, high-pitched sounds like whistling are painful to our ears. I am glad you are not considering beeps or bells. Engine noises are better, but lower the pitch.

Please only do B. The others are really kinda annoying. B sounds like a nice car : ) Cant wait to get one!!

B only. The other sounds seem a vacuum cleaning and shames any driver who can drive this car.

If the intention is genuinely to make the cars safer then it should make a sound like a conventional car. These sounds might be fun but they will not be instantly recognised as a car that needs to be avoided, and that delay could be enough to fail to prevent an accident.

This one's the best because it's not so high pitched as the others. I still think they could do better but for now this one wins my approval.
