A lot of acts threatened to drop out of it when they were told they only play like 2 or 3 songs and mimed. At first it was sold to them like one of those Radio 1 One Big Sunday events, but when they were informed of what really happened few dropped out and a few stayed in as long as they were not on the posters and TV announcements.

I dont get why people are complaining that The Zutons mimed, and they felt cheated out of their money.

The Zutons are a proper band, everyone was told to mime on that stage because of the wind, obviously shitty acts like mcfly and Ne-yo had no problem with this because they do it all the time, the zutons however were pissed off and who can blame them. anyway, like they give a shit about impressing the type of people that go t4 on the beach, they are amazing live and were class at glastonbury.

T4 on the beach was a great day! But when we figured out the Zutons mimed i was like wtf! I wanted to see them perform not mime! I reckon Zutons are great but they must have been well drunk..They were all over the place!

It isnt T4 that decides the acts should mime,its the acts themselves,after all they are all grown up and have the power to do what they want on stage!
Zutons were absolutely shocking,the lead singer looked to me as though he was either really drunk or stoned!I would have been embarassed to be in The Zutons that day!

We all paid money and they could have atleast tried! he got all funny when people werent cheering which was a tad bit uncalled for aswell!
