Documentary series about the development of some of Britain's biggest movies. Director Bill Forsyth scored a hat-trick with his themes of football, schooldays and first love in Gregory's Girl. His film put a little bit of Scotland on the big screen and appealed to audiences around the world. John Gordon Sinclair, Dee Hepburn, Clare Grogan and Rab Buchanan recall the summer of 1980 when Gregory's Girl went from being a wee Scottish film to an international hit movie.

  • The most accurate and universally relatable story of adolescent angst and sexual longing ever filmed.

  • @taralicious This is true. 'Gregory's Girl' was released a year after I left school. I felt like I was going through the fifth form all over again! Very accurate, well observed and well played.
