In our inaugural Theology Talk, Jim is joined by Jeff Young, GCA president, to discuss a recent
anti-Calvinist message, preached by Pastor Brady Cooper at the New Vision Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN. Jim and Jeff carefully and respectfully point out the assumptions, misrepresentations, and "straw man arguments" that are typical of the Arminian approach to Scripture. It is our intention to utilize this informal discussion format to produce other Theology Talk programs in the future covering a wide variety of topics.

As always, your feedback is welcome!

  • Thanks diligentile, I'm going to playlist hours 1 and 2 together. It's a great discussion, for its defense of Reformed doctrine both historically and scripturally.

  • There are 3 more hours of this interview that I hope to have up over the next week or so. All 5 hours can be downloaded at salvationbygrace dot org under the current download section

  • The issue is always the same - people telling lost people that they are saved (although the evidence of their lives is contrary), and then those lost people that were never saved go on for the rest of their lives to believe in the "once saved always saved" cliche, even though they are in a constant state of willful sin. Prideful sinners who love to say they are saved regardless of their obvious standing before a Holy God.
