As sad as I am about the nature of her thoughts/actions sometimes, I think it's great getting to see her side and the thought processes that lead her to doing the perhaps-not-the-best-idea things she does - her character development is so well done! Excellent job, writers.

I think Lizzie does care for her, in her own way, but I guess that's kind of the point. Lizzie is so focused on making sure her sister is safe and not getting into trouble that she forgets sometimes that her sister is actually there .

Lydia is just surrounded by shit people :( Yes she's difficult, but with the exception of Jane and Mary everyone treats her like shit so obviously she's going to react that way back.

Lizzie's "I just want to take her of her" is bs too, in my opinion. If she really cared about Lydia she'd "take care of her" more often than just when she wants to get rid of her.
