@newjerseydev if you're justifying holik's style of play by the contract he received from the rangers, then you've got serious issues
that contract has long been cited as one of the main examples of how the NHL lost control of its salary situation and led to the lockout

Do you see the lady right of the Devils bench ready with her camera when Kap emerges. It would have been the best photo with his expression.

this is vintage dead-puck era hockey. holik rode him like a wagon train from the red line to the blue line all the way into the devils' bench.
