Just wondered what fish you used in this system? Just setting up my own system and have no idea where to get fish stocks from tilapia are the best but not sure if they are available in the uk? Does anybody know? Would be grateful if anybody can message me, thanks
Awesome job on the greenhouse/aquaponics set up! Excellent idea on the time lapse video to show the installation.I love the shaded fish tank & the rain water collection trough!Thank you Becky, Charlie,& Niall for sharing a fundamental part of food sustainability for a new way of living! It's smart how your setup with the fish tank keeps it out of direct sunlight to minimize algae growth. Even though it's perfectly sized for this garden, I imagine a bigger garden would allow a bigger greenhouse. I've been toying with a geodesic model for a greenhouse, if I could get an oil barrel sized rocket mass heater built for all year round growing. It's obvious you've put a lot of work and thought into it. Well done, great job. Peace. Ps: Will give the website a look see.
Brilliant! Really good idea to make a time lapse! The vents are really funny! And very nice Murray Hallam kind of set up! What about the cold dark winter?
probably Tilapia
