Veggie stew is a regular staple on our boat and will last about 3 days.
I love using our Pro-Selections pressure cooker.

Welcome to our galley aboard the sailing vessel Lealea. It can be challenging to cook on a 27 foot cruising sailboat especially in rough weather. But whether in port or at the dock we always have a good time. More recipes available in The Galley at http://CruisingLealea.com

  • Look at you!!! great vid. I have the exact same stove and am looking for alternatives to the 'can in the pan' or 'frying pan' meals. The pressure cooker is apparently another option. Also the cast iron pan with lid seems like it could be almost "oven-like"..........

  • @vega1860 thanks

  • @vega1860 And we'll be visiting your website and check it out. Thanks!

  • @cougar0189c mmm tastes just like chicken, just kidding. Close your eyes and tastes just like sweet potato.

  • @tomperanteau We have just opened up a new "The Galley" page on our CruisingLealea website. I will be adding recipes as time permits.

  • @welderman27 we do not have refrigeration. When in port we will buy ice occasionally but if we can't store it then we make less.

  • @welderman27 we have the 6 qt.

  • I appreciate the cooking series! Keep it up, mix it in, every little bit of your life you share helps me understand the lifestyle and how do-able it is :)

  • I forgot to ask how many quarts is this pressure cooker?
