Interview with Raphael Omondi: Kibera, UN's Slum Upgrading Program, Poverty, Youth of Africa, etc. He is the Director and Founder of Pamoja Youth Foundation in Kibera. ... AFRICA ...
On the issue of loosing culture, personally I think that is the least of Kibera inhabitants worries. As for communal spirit I reckon Kenyan society as a whole tends to have that anyway no matter where u live be it Lavington or Kibera (though no so much in Lavington). Good work Raphael Omondi and wise words. I hope the gov and all stake holders listen for the upgrading work to be a success. Kibera is a stain on the concience of Kenya.
