1. It's the greatest city in the world.

2. Getting around is very easy.

3. Great food.

4. 24-hour pace of life.

5. New York is a safe city.

6. It's cool to say you live in New York.

7. Capitalism! If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere!

8. New York is a tolerant city.

9. New York maintains a "small-town" feel with very distinct neighborhoods.

I think you have to realize that not everyone is a worldwide traveler like yourself so your comments seem quite negative. you may find that some New Yorkers will blast you for suggesting that NYC is anything less than the best. Bottom line...NYC has the best pizza, clubs, business, tolerance and no where else on earth can beat it!....everyone wants to live there and it is the greatest city in the world!

How come you live in New York? I mean why don't you move back to Sweden or Spain? Cause if none of the things that you mentioned are unique to New York and you think living in another country is better that would only makes sense right?

how do you make it in life like that? i mean you've traveled to lots of cities and probably a lot more in the future.where did you get the money from?you see,im just a teen and you're pretty much livin my dream.bein able to travel,have lots of knowledge etc.i would like to go to NYC one day and if i could, i would live there like maybe 2 or 3 yrs and hopefully,be able to love or accept the negativity of it but it just seem too far-fetched for me to get there...

@xaviercbrock Actually Marco Polo got the pasta thing from noodles in China!

The base of pizza was all around the mediterrean sea in ancient times...Italians(in Naples especially)made the best out of it!
