This video was taken on Tuesday, September 29th 2009 on Emirates flight 212 from Houston to Dubai. The flight was slightly delayed out of Houston due to a rain storm that hit the airport. You can see the landing from the onboard video camera that you can watch on your personal screen. In this video, you can also hear the onboard announcements once we touched down around 7pm in Dubai. This is one of the longest east-bound flights in that it lasts 15 hours 30 minutes. The onboard service as great.

  • Hi Eglisto,

There is no WiFi access on Emirates; in fact, I don't think any international flights offer Internet WiFi.

  • Were there power outlets in that airplane where you could charge a laptop ect,on? Asking since I'm traveling there in 4 weeks and I heard you have to assign certain seats in economy in order to get a seat with a power cord to charge your laptop, ect.

  • @Eglistio I believe there is one power outlet in each row of the economy section. You should check with the airline. In Business, there was a power outlet at each seat. I cannot remember if I needed an adapter...I don't believe I did. Hope you have a safe flight!

  • it was almost 16 hours.....
