They have ALREADY came to the center of the cage to TOUCH GLOVES, fatboy. The ref. even says, "touch gloves." When they go back to their corners.... they turn around, the ref. says "fight", and the bell rings..... game on!

Why don't we change the rules for you... from now on, after the bell rings, both fighters come out, give each other a hug, rub noses together, and when they both "feel" ready.... they start attacking each other!

Fighters are there to WIN... there is NO rule that says you are supposed to touch gloves! When you step in the cage, you better be ready to fight, or you will get knocked out like this guy did! Did he get caught off guard?.. Ofcourse he did!.... That's what he gets for trying to be a "nice guy" to the person he's getting ready to do COMBAT with.
