Smc fan control default rpm fix

quick fix for late 2008 macbook and macbook pro aluminum users who can't get rid of the 4000 default rpm speed within smc fan control.

got a question , i cant get mine under 150 , i have had some fan issues , about a year ago i left my macbook pro 13inch on the carpet fried the hardrive and maybe others i dont really know , i sent it in and it got fixed buy now i have issues with the fan and how loud it is . should i get a new fan ?

What is the default minimum speed that the program comes with.

@brinjal789 it says that because it DOES NOT have a right fan at all .. only a left one .. so it shows a -1 to indicate that
