No, it definitely isn't a Staind song. It isn't even a song, just a transition to I Dare You, and it isn't officially called Outside, it was dubbed that by a fellow board member. Tho Staind does have a song called Outside, it is nothing like this piece.

dude I hope they do turn this into a real song. It's fucking awesome. Even though I've only heard it acoustic, it's def. an acoustic song. It gave me chills, especially the part when he says, "I just want to tell you something, you make me feel like I am alive. . ." Gotta love shinedown.
