About my Bokken

I have two bokken, as of now, and I have a third in the mail. When it gets here I will do a review of it and show it to you, I promise.

The other website, where I ordered my new bokken, is http://www.bloomingcanvas.com/exoticbokken/index.html and I RECOMMEND STRONGLY that you people look at that, check out their woods, check out their prices... you will NOT be disappointed, trust me on that one. Now, about the lignum vitae offer, I apologise for not getting more details to you, but I barely got this video under the ten minute mark.

Or you could simply use the email on his website. Anyway, this is an AMAZING DEAL. Honestly, everyone else offering genuine lignum vitae gives you a case-by-case price estimate, or it's not clear whether what they're offering is genuine. So, three hundred dollars is a good deal, and I think--not certain here, don't quote me--that he'll offer free customization. To a point, of course: he can't have someone wanting an odachi bokken for the same price as a normal one. I think I'll ask him about that.

Cold steel bokken are *CRAP*. They're lightweight and warp on the first few hits. We have two in our dojo and both are severely warped. True, they won't break, but at the price of extreme warping it's better to get a high quality wood that won't break like your friend's.

Cold steel bokken,, indestructible..... Nuff said really. Had a guy tell me I was stupid till my cold steel bokken snapped his "handmade Japanese" bokken.. :)

first of all those wrist movements wont work for combat(against any1 who knows what they're doin) anywho as southern661 said cold steel makes a great unbreakable bokken for about 30 bucks, youd think it wouldnt feel right but its pretty dead on. its got a nice grip too. your control issues may be due to the way you're gripping it, you should grip the bokken kindof like the way you would shake some1's hand. the straight up first grip just turns it into a club. japanese green oak is the best btw:)
