For others who miss Denny, I've playlisted nearly 40 songs alphabtically. Go to my playlist 'Martin Denny - Exotica', click 'play all' and he's yours for two glorious nonstop hours!
Beautiful vibes in your organ - sorry your baby is sick! You play beautifully, forgot I wasn't really listening to MD ! ! ! !

Well thank you. A lot of good music is being forgotten. It is strange that it seems the Hammond X-66 has popularity in Mexico and South America but not so much in the USA. I played the X-66 for many years. GK

Loved the sound of your pipe organ-very sweet sound and hope you post more. Used to be a Gulbransen dealer (as well as Hammond and Technics back in the 80s) and remember that unit when it was new! Hope you post more, thanks.

Thank you. The organ is presently down needing repairs or I would have recorded more from it. It is loaded with Tantalum capacitors which seem to be troublesome. I may post a video showing the innards of the instrument. The Rialto II was the CBS replacement for the original Rialto K. When the instrument is working OK it is a very versitile instrument but the piano and percussions sounds are somewhat dated as compared to digital.

dd you listen to Juan Torres?
is thaat a X 66? he plays?
how do hammond organs still sell ?
are the x 66 still on stock?

Yes he plays the X-66. The original Hammond organ company no longer exists. The company was bought out by Suzuki. They still produce instruments with the Hammond/Suzuki name but they are all digital and are not much like the old original Hammond instruments were. I see X-66 organs for sale very often on Ebay and on the theatre organ pages.
