@Antarktida1337 I don't think EMP's are considered tactical weapons. You have to take into consideration that "at this time" we only generate effective EMP's by setting off Nukes at great height (athmosphere near stratosphere) which then as a 'side-effect' creates the EMP. It's unlikely anyone will use EMP, for if you use it - you can't fly into that territory yourself. You're disabling both the enemy and yourself from air operations. Most likely use? Just before Nuclear Warfare.

@Antarktida1337 The A400M is ment to fill the gap between the Tactical/Strategic Airlifter. So yes it does have 'some' Strategic-Airlifter capabillities - but not much a C-17 or the even bigger ones. But that's the entire point of the airplane, we don't tend to move 'massive' fleets by air anymore - we deliver small and fast loads and often drop them off right near the action. That's the future of warfare, the best tactical force wins. Strategic wars are for nukes. :)

@krishan2009 Yeah? How is that? The C-17 is a jet-powered Strategic Airlift, both the C-130 and A400M are turboprop Tactical Airlift... So yeah it's going to have simillar to C-130 capabillity, that's the entire point. It was never ment to be a C-17. So if you're going to hate on someting - at least make sure its sensical. Sheez.

knock of of a C-17 with a C-130 capability. should have never attempted it air bus oh well the RAF will put them to use somewhere.
