Next, the Smiser project is not gone it is suspended! With the first Smiser project proposal being 6 times larger than Los Lomas it makes it very questiionable as to why the city would consider the Smiser project and oppose Los Lomas.

TBB2incher,
Anyone can write a Letter to the Editor.
The question is, Why don't they remove the clause from the Development Agreement that says, they Do Not have to build the hospital expansion. We Need A Guarantee! Why don't you?

The city council should watch these videos. Maybe they will learn something. Kellar is the only one who listens. Ferry doesn't get it, so lets get him out next election. Continues to talk down to us. The rest need to go too. Proven records past and present that they JUST DO NOT CARE or listen to the Citizens of Santa Clarita, only the Developers of Santa Clarita. Its all about money.

Hi Craig - No doubt you're available these days but I don't need your market data, thanks. We all know doctors need offices, but your vacancy argument is off topic. Providence Holy Cross is adding new MOBs for its expansion six miles away in Porter Ranch. So, WTF?
And please, G&L is NOT contributing $100 million to our hospital. That money is only going to their office buildings. Period. In fact, they are not even adequately paying for mitigation! This is ALL cost, no benefit.

Logical SCV residents DO want the hospital expansion, just not all the fluff that makes the project raise the fur on our backs.

If the "cancer doc" wants a hospital expansion he should be demanding a guarantee for the expansion from G&L and Roger Seaver. As Corgi Heaven stated, he should demand that G&L remove the clause from the Development Agreement that says G&L does not have to build the hospital expansion. Again, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why G&L keeps that clause. Mayor Bob Kellar gets it, and gets a lots more. Care to tell us why Bob Kellar's opposition to G&L is wrong, Mr. Peters, 2 incher?

Mr. Peters, there are signs all over advertising office space and medical office space.
G&L and Roger Seaver will not guarantee a hospital expansion. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why.
Our City Council opposed Las Lomas and The Avenue at Santa Clarita was even bigger than Las Lomas.
City Council voted no on the MRF when they were presented with all the facts. The MRF "didn't happen" ONLY because of community involvement opposing the project. Same with The Avenue.
Mr. 2 Inches, we all want an actual hospital expansion! But how 'bout complying with existing zoning laws & utlizing existing nearby office space?

Mr. Peters, it may surprise you that not everyone is interested in fawning over your self assumed brilliance.
Consider this: you expect City Hall to strictly comply with parking guidelines (despite serious shortages at HM) yet existing building codes are irrelevant and hazardous to your pet project.

And one more thing Mr. Peters, I suggest that you review this video one more time & take careful note of your very own comments towards those who oppose your view of G & L's office expansion project at Henry Mayo's campus. You'll see & hear that is where the name calling began by none other than yourself.

Mr. Peters, don't you know that we've all seen City Hall's "developer friendly" actions, so we already know that they are supporting your position. Frankly, I am surprised at your reaction to this video when your team is sitting in the driver's seat. By the way, I see that your 39,935 sq.ft. lease sign at McBean & Old Ranch Road is still in place though you report that there is no actual space for lease there. What is your removal ECD?

Mr. Peters, Mr. Peters, Mr. Peters... the 39,935sq.ft. leasd sign was purposefully shown twice - first to clearly show your name on the sign & 2nd to show location. With the tremendous availability of SCV ofc space, your comment here is quite trivial. Our city has a shortage of parking space all over town and you're telling us City Hall would now prevent using existing ofc space for medical use over a few parking spaces!? Get real! You are once again quibbling over a very minor issue.

So Mr. Peters, why is your lease sign for 39,935 sq.ft. medical office space on McBean still there? And since you are ready to debate, why not simply direct us to the City's parking requirement that backs up your arguement. And why did you not come clean on all of the local available space at that City Council Public Hearing? You could have easily saved me so much time from creating this very cool video.
