  • Thank god for this man for posting these videos!

  • i think this team is severely overlooked. No. 1 offense in the league and No. 2 defense. i think it's ignored for a variety of reasons: It preceeds the Cowboys' dynasty so it couldn't repeat as a champion. Mark Rypien had that 1 great year and finally age caught up with the Hogs and the Posse and Gibbs quit. still that year was all about the Skins. they should get a lot more credit than they do. 14-2 regular season (really 15-1) and championship is not to be sniffed at!

  • what's the score music playing at 41.19? please, anyone know?

  • What I remember vividly from this season was how lucky the Resdkins were that the 49ers didn't make the playoffs. The Niners had won 6 straight to close the season by a margin of 189-94. Many people, especially the MNF staff present for the Niners' 52-14 destruction of the Bears, shared this sentiment.

I'm not a Niners' fan, but they finished the season as strong as the wild-card teams (Giants in '11, Packers in '10) usually do before embarking on a serious Super Bowl run.

  • Gibbs impersonation of jack kent cook was funny as hell!

  • @sptrfn you can't use any game from the following year in an argument to prove greatness of the year before. 96 pack had #1 ranked offense and defense, the only super bowl champion to do so. also had great special teams with desmond howard. besides an injury plagued 2 game losing streak at kc and dal, that team could have easily been 15-1. the 97 pack team was really good but were a year older in many important positions, mainly on the defense and really showed their age, especially in sb.

  • @Canuck204: Denver beat the 96 Pack, basically. They also repeated. The 91 Skins and 96 Pack didn't. The 92 Cowboys did, but look who they beat. Buffalo wasn't all that great.

  • they went 14-0 and lost the last two games to philly and dallas because they took their starters out. Definitely one of the most dominant teams ever that is always overlooked.

  • 91 Redskins, 92 Cowboys and 96 Packers I think were the top 3 dominant Super Bowl champions of the decade in no order..

  • That was one of the best teams in NFL history. Nobody ever talks about that Redskins team but that year they were unbeatable. There offensive line was probably the best line ever put together and no disrespect to Mark Rypien but when you have that protection and that much time its not a surprise the year that he had.

  • @drkthms7 It's certainly one of very few teams that can make the case for being best ever with numbers.

  • This scene around the 31:36 mark where Jerry Glanville is saying SCAREDY cracks me up. I got a bunch of my coworkers to start saying that ARE YOU SCARED, ARE YOU SCAREDY when something got tough to do.
