VIDEO REPLY:

Addition for the video "Pen tool tutorial" found in my channel.

Sorry for the lack of Audio and instructions, I'm in a hurry right now and I think this video is self explanatory.

About brush settings and closer look into SIMULATE PRESSURE

EDIT: For the last time, THIS IS NOT a tutorial, it's a reply to a tutorial video for those who didn't see clearly the proccess because of the resolution.

  • Very helpfull, but tell me.. why doesn't it brush alongside the WHOLE line? its misses the last part?

  • @Syrika24 The explanation is easy. You see that I checked the "simulate pressure" box. What that does is behaving like a stroke made with a tablet like a Wacom, which have a pressure detection interface. The less pressure you apply, the thinner the stroke gets. So if you set your minimum width in the brush engine to 0%. The start and end of the stroke will be 0% width, making both ends dissapear.

  • suck with this help

  • @tonytsing message me if you've got any doubt, I'll try my best to help you :)

  • This is so awesome -.- This isn't a tutorial its just you doing random shit. Commentary over it plz

  • @IReFleXGamingNetWork Wow! I love when random morons come here looking for a magic trick that makes them awesome at photoshop, and DON'T EVEN BOTHER READING THE DAMN TEXT BELOW THE VIDEO.

It's got no commentary. Get over it plz.

  • Thank you, usefull video

  • thanks you sooo much this really healped

  • uhmm.. i cant do "Stroke Path"..

  • sure this video is good tutorial for the self taught :)

  • Im having a problem with my pen tool and selecting 'Stroke path'- its all greyed out and I cant figure out why. Im using CS3, anyone with help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Are you using a tablet?

  • thank you very very much it helps me but still i like you to explain it with your voice easier than following the mouse.. wish you can do the same tuts for the rest of the tool

  • Thanks, you don't know how this helped alot. I've been using the fade control instead of the pen pressure control to fade the line on both ends. With the fade control you don't know how long the line will be, so it ends up cut at the half way you made your path. TmbsUp!

  • Awesome tutorial! This is great when all you need is a quick, to-the-point rundown of the basics of the pen tool. I've never used it before and this was enough to get me up and running, without having to slog through half an hour of video. Thanks!

  • how do u do this on Ai CS5?
