@GaolisVideoLog - It's not really fair to compare the current social evolution of America with Europe. The histories of the two are very different.  The countries of Europe have had a lot more time to deal with their social issues. America's racist and puritanical legacy continues to retard it's social development. The question of race specifically has never been adequately adressed or resolved in the American psyche.

@GaolisVideoLog - It seems like you missed the point of my statement or failed to read the last sentence. I have nothing against gays or minorities, I was simply highlighting the fact that it was ironic that one of the tea party advocates was gay, when homosexuality is antithetical to the tea party's values. I would agree with you that Europe is more progressive in dealing with diversity issues, but you have not evolved to the point where  "no one cares".
