So a lot of people hear around a lot that sunscreen is bad for you...and it is bad for you but it's also good for you! So I'm going to be discussing why it's bad for you!

Sorry that I talk really fast in this video...I was really on that Monster high so once again sorry about that!

  • First all, i love smart black girls(:

Second i very much appreciate this video(: Hispanic myself, i thought i just needed to search some stuff up about skin and cosmetic care.

    Thank you Lots :D

  • I've avoided brand name sunscreen for YEARS. But as a ginger I have to be careful! I discovered that there are ORGANIC sunscreens! They are the perfect solution if the chemicals in other brands are a concern!

  • This is why you see farmers in Africa outside in the sun all day having zero skin cancer and African Americans getting it. Colored people need 6x more sun than the lighter.

  • this was really informative. As a person with medium-tone brown skin, I always wonder if sunscreen is necessary. My mom sunburns easily and is barely a shade lighter than me...and i actually experienced sunburn while hanging out in Australia, (I'm from Ohio). It's so confusing! I'm thinking about finding a Vitamin D supplement or eating more salmon lol so I can avoid both burning and vitamin deficiency. any thoughts?

  • @kkmwalker520 I'm happy you are active in your comments :) and thank you for your input! I hope you will keep watching <3

  • @kkmwalker520 well dang people need to enjoy the outdoors more often! Well it is spring time, so hopefully people who have watched this video remember your advice. thank you for your helpful videos.

  • @kkmwalker520 You would be surprised that a lot of people do. And nowadays you have lotion that actually comes with sunscreen, or people who leave the house early for work or school stay inside all day and come home at night rarely getting outside for a few minutes. It's not just a small thing or I wouldn't feel the need to talk about it. Darker skinned people like me need to have their skin unprotected for 30 minutes and they should not be encouraged to put on sunscreen until after.

  • @TheMakeupExpress I am sure that most people do not put sunscreen on their skin everytime they walk into the sunlight. Many people get vitamin d without them knowing. 15 minutes is a very short amount of time. People can get this 15 minutes from walking to the car and then into a store. We must make sure people know how much time your skin needs the sun unprotected then. If it is over 15 minutes, they should be encouraged to wear sunscreen.

  • @TheMakeupExpress Labouratorie Remede Gel Matte Cream to keep my face neutral throughout the day and then I put a small layer of UV coat lotion on top because the Acne Marks treatment makes your skin super sensitive to the sun. At night I wash my face with the Placenta Soap and then I put a tea oil cream on my face that I got from Taiwan (contains inorganic mercury which is really powerful) so if you are fair don't use it. Then I wake up and almost all my blemishes disappear within a few days.

  • @TheCarolynia Sure! Well naturally I have horrible acne and my face used to be a pizza-face but because I have oily skin I have a strict regime of some products that I must use on my face everyday! I wash my face with Placenta Soap which is actually made from the placenta flower. Then I use Clinique Toner #3 which regulates the oil on my face...keeping it moisturized but still dry. Then I use Clarisol Acne Marks Treatment Cream and I put that all over my face. After that I use (continued)
