I'm Alive (2008)

"Imagine" by John Lennon inspired the lyrics of this original song. The visuals come from a mix of pics I found online and clips from the 1980's film, "Dreamscape".

I really like the old school visuals in this movie. (Reminds me a bit of Harryhausen.) To me the snake-man represents that reptilian-like, fear-based part of us all that we can overcome if we'll only try.

I know this song needs production work! I hear a children's choir in place of the parts of the song where I'm singing in falsetto. I'll get it back in the studio someday... The main idea is the lyrics though. So, as the lyricist I willingly share them with you here.

I don't know why swayingpines hates the people of the United States of America, but his love of lies, villainy and thoughtless parroting of partisan bullshit is not only unfortunate, but verges on the treasonous when you understand the implications of his foolish fearmongering and disgustingly mendacious labeling.

It's thanks to people like him that we are in the mess we are in.
