This is a song from the album Sketches In Grey. Color Theory made a cd tribute to Depeche Mode, completed with two new instrumental interludes and eleven of Depeche Mode most underappreciated songs reinvented. "Ponytail Girl" was a Color Theory original song that the world mistook for DM. Hope you'll enjoy this wonderful song! I put some images from depeche mode studio.
I give you the lyrics too:

Before my world was big enough for two
You had my word but my heart was overdue
Never found what I had meant to find
Looked so hard but darling I was blind
All the places we went
All the money we spent
What were we looking for?
Seems like nothing at all
All the time on my mind
Just to leave you behind
What were we hoping for?
Maybe nothing at...
Although it can be deceiving
Fewer things are worth believing
Through it all
I never realized exactly what I felt for you
Couldn't sympathize with another point of view
It was right before my eyes
Love was there but never realized
When it seems that time is standing still
I picture you
And your music fills my heart without a sound
And disappears when I turn around
All the dreams I'd been concealing
Not to recognize this feeling
Through it all
I never realized...

  • Yes...I've noticed that too...well I think that Brian is not that well received by the public because of the confusion with Depeche Mode music or his promotion is not that very good...I don't know but I like his songs very much. I will try to put as many of his songs on youtube. Cheers

  • @niswel: I agree with you! Brian seem to show that kind of respect towards his fans the bigger acts forgot how to show... Maybe the lack of stardom matters?!
