@Steppen03 Yes I have completely changed not only the filtration system but also the tank (double the capacity). I have a biological filter now, along with a power filter which is much less turbulent. I think it's high time I updated on the condition of my fish :) will do so soon :)

@nv85 Use a less turbulent filter system - your fishes will get to swim peacefully, and less stress for them. Be sure to put some Biological media in a mesh bag into the filter - this Bio-media will make the water clear and give your tank some natural nutrients for the fishes to enjoy. Beautiful, happy fishes you have there!

@orandaboy yes i think so too, but i have tried "less turbulent" filtration systems and it just doesnt seem to keep the tank clean enough......now what i do is i switch between the 2 filters that i have. any suggestions abt effective filtration which doesnt push out water so aggressively??
