@musicaorganum Not really memory. The hands remember so to speak - not the mind - or at least that is how it probably seems to this scholar I think. Many pieces I learned over 10 years ago I can play without a score to this day. I forget some as don't practice enough but rarely do I actually think of the notes nor need the sheet music when practicing. The hands just do it and I suspect this player is similar in that regard.
