A quick bicycle ride through Fullerton, CA to the last undeveloped open space in North Orange County, West Coyote Hills. The movie contrast the NOISE of developed areas to that of the peace and tranquility of Open Space.

  • This is perfect for my land conservation debate topic!

  • i wish i knew about this earlier, does anyone know if the construction plans are still going to be implemented? i want to get involved

  • I grew up in La habra, off Beach and Imp. The Chevron oil fields were my sacuary. I would hike for hrs, and see fields of wild flowers, snakes, lizards, skunks, rabbits, squirels, and even coyotes. There was a flowing stream, and I remember seeing birds there that I have never seen since. It was as gorgeous as Yosemete. Then one day it was gone. Houses are sitting there now. I talk about my experiences there to my kids, but sadly, they will never know the beauty.

  • awesome video.

    save coyote hills!!

  • I have mixed feelings regarding the latest development. On one hand, the development provides a much needed revenue stream to the city. On the other, its nice to have open space. This piece of land is not what nature created. What we have is what Chevron left after a hundred years of desecrating the hills. Its not pristine land nor is it usable in its current state. I have a feeling I wont have access to this land whether its built or not.

  • When I was a kid I saw an Indian at Coyote Hills. I always wondered if he was real or a spirit.

  • Great video. It is sad that people just want to develop every open space we have left. Natural SoCal is not just weeds & fire hazards. Before all the development it was beautiful here. Coyote Hills looks nice, think I will join their hike this Sat March 14th, I'd love to see it. Build baby build! Any of these cities ever consider our quality of life? We don't need densely populated cities--and we don't have enough water for the homes we already have. Please help save Coyote Hills!

  • I love this video!

  • I found this video, because the same thing is happening to a Coyote Hills here in Fremont CA. Wetlands here will soon be 900 homes and a lighted playing field, The owners have already made 63 million and they can;t donate a few more acres to the park. Its a crime and i am disgusted.
