Former UCLA Chancellor Albert Carnesale, an expert on foreign affairs, international security and nuclear proliferation, comments on Sen. John McCain's March 26 foreign policy speech delivered to the Los Angeles World Affairs Council. Carnesale addresses McCain's omission of four major topics: the effect of the war in Iraq on the U.S. economy, Cuba, missile defense and the most recent violence in Iraq.

  • It's hard for McCain to equate the war with the economy when he doesn't understand the economy. Hopefully he'll pick up one or two of Ron Paul's books.

  • Where's the speech from McCain he is talking about?

  • there is nothing wrong with Wright.

  • obama - wright is the same as clinton - fulbright, in that fulbright was a mentor to the clintons, and a politician (not a pastor) who voted over and over against bills regarding civil rights.

  • Obama tells America he is against NAFTA, then tells Canada its only rhetoric to get the votes of the believers. Obama and one more lie. Obama who believes Rev. Wrights words, and thinks of him as family, and is his mentor. This is the truth. You can believe Obama's lies if you want, but I hope you are intelligent enough to see the truth.
