  • It appears to be very limited on the tilt up...can anybody tell me how far this things tilt vertically upwards?

  • @signalsoldier

It tilts upwards 32 degrees and downwards 90 degrees. If you need it to tilt up higher, a little trick is to mount the camera on it reversed so that the grip is on the same side as the lens. A little unconventional but it works great.

  • @vanguardworldcom Will it attach to the Espod Plus 204AP?

  • @AgentJuly19903 Technically it could but isn't a good match. The base of the Espod Plus 204AP center column is much smaller than the base of GH-100. It's best suited for a 26mm or larger top leg section tripod.

  • It's been on sale for over a year now and I have yet to find a UK supplier! to ship one in from the US makes it close to $200... crazy!!!!!

  • @vanguardworldcom

Thanks for the answer bro...and that is a neat lil trick but 32 degrees should be enough especially with a wide angle lens. Thanks I think I may purchase this!

  • One question ....how in the world are you suposed to use the shutter realese and such things when one hand is on the frip and one under the lens?

  • Oops nvm, yes it does... Silly me

  • Does this have a quick release place

  • I purchased the Alta pro 263at tripod a few months ago and it came with this head, a great head. It can be a pain when taking astro pics as you need to swing the grip around to the front of the tripod so you can tilt the camera up, tends to make it a bit more tricky to get good smooth movement. And will not take a Canon 7D with a battery grip either. Over all though I'd recommend this head no problem.

  • why the f do you make your voice only come out of my left earbud, it's driving me crazyyyyyyyyy
