Kinect connected to PC

Finnaly got the Kinect to work with my PC... I am hopefully going to be able to write programs for it.

Since you got your connect into your computer, I have a question.

Did you get your connect seperately? Or with your Xbox..? Because my kinect came with my xbox and since I don't have the piece everyone seems to be talking about to get it into the USB, it doesn't fit into my computer.
