Never would've expected Notch to tweet this video. :)

Minecraft is a good way to get you to question whether or not you have a life.

Note: This video doesn't fully capture the true scale of this thing since most of the panning shots are taken from platforms above the model, and 90% of the video footage has been sped up 2x-8x, making it seem easy to run by quickly.

To those requesting the music, I'm providing a download to the mix I made for the video. Don't expect it to be in much higher quality, or have extended playtime. This mix was simply ripped from the video itself as I no longer have the original track. (sourcing details in the ID3 tag.)

Heh... This map is over 3 years old. It was made before anyone even knew about Minecraft. I posted this on the forums before it even had a thousand members. This map is long gone now.

Not sure how. This was made in an old version of creative that predates, indef, infdev, survival alpha and survival beta as you can see from the version number and upload date. The level format isn't even remotely similar to what we have now. Also I've no idea what an MCedit schematic is. I don't use level editors.

No. Look at the date of mine and the date of his. I made this on my second day of playing Minecraft (creative mode was all that existed back then), by myself, without any mods or cheats. Halnicholas made his over a year later using editors, fly hax, and a whole group of people to get to the point that it currently is at. Not that I fault him for it. It's just really hard to compare the two. His is at a larger scale than mine, but mine was fully finished in a little over a day.
