This reminds me of my ex. He had just brokem up with his gf when we went out and he said that we should wait since he still loved her. And I waited day and night. For such a long time. And instead of asking me out like he said he would, he asked out one of my friends. I was pissed at first. And also I prob should have known better since he cheated on 3 girls, One of them being my bestie. But hey, Im fine now. Plus he whined 24/7 so good luck to her. He still says he loves me ^.^ Which is lies.
