@EXTRON180 Yeah it's in finding a balance in the hardness of the metal so it's sharp and stil being flexible to take a hit. You would be suprised at the sort of beating a foil can take. So yeah sword craftsmanship isn't just a skil, it's an art.

@EXTRON180 Yes it's true even katana and claymores are very flexible when hit hard, without the flexibility the sword would snap in two

@Solombas Oh yes, I see :). Thank you! I actually only just recently learned about it in school too :D. That's why a thick, rotted log practically breaks easier than a bendy cedar stick.

Fencing is awesome. I play foil, and really like it. My coach fenced in the 2004 Athens Olympics! If you ever see someone jumping up real high in a picture, that's my coach!
