@chobeethaninov No, this numbering is actually the correct one, although the wrong numbering does in fact seem to be more widespread. If you are seriously interested in the question, check my blog entry about it (blogger Clavicen on blogspot).

Cette sonate ,plus la 32,la 29 Hammerklavier,quel joyaux dans la musique du piano,Et la 30,il n'y a que 2 mouvements,sont écriture exeptionelle,difficile à saisir ,car son concept n'est pas très clair ,même pour Beethoven dans une humeur dans le brouillard,lui même .Il a jeté les notes sur le papier et D.les a placer,c'est une oeuvre hors du commun,réservé qu'a des pianistes très inspirés,car la sonate est très difficile pour toutes ces raisons

The separation of the movements is all wrong. This is the 1st and 2nd movements.
