Sapphire is the only pokemon game that will ever hold nostalgia for me, as I never got the previous games until recently and I was too old by the time colosseum came out for it to leave any nostalgic effects. They pretty much ruined pokemon with diamond and pearl. Thanks for uploading. Are you using a bass boost in the recording or has the bass always been this loud relative to the rest of the music?

Ruby was the first game I played when I was still a little kid. Hearing this music again makes me want to roam Hoenn once again with my trusty Mudkip at my side. So peaceful....

Ruby/Sapphire was definitely the best versions. I love my Torchic and he evolved into a kick ass Blaziken.

I remember watching my big brother playing with treeko after our cousin bought us ruby... When I was like 10 years old I played it non-stop and catched so many pokemons, even rayquaza and regirock... But the best thing was this music and the surfing music. Now I'm almost 16 and I returned playing for a week, The music makes me wanna cry, it sounds so pure... (:

Apparently, most people have not listened gameboy/ds game music with headphones/earbuds. It's not that the speakers on the systems sucked - which they kinda did... Every gameboy color had speakers that would degrade over time - but if you really listened to the music through that audio jack, all the nuances of the music stood out.

That's what I love about rediscovering old game music. :)

When iwas a kid, I played Pokemon first version game. I fell in love pokemon after that. Abt, 6 years old, I played Sapphire and UNTIL NOW, IT ROCKS! Torchic was my partner. This year, my age was 15. And still playing Sapphire. IMMA PROVE TO YOU GUYS, SAPPHIRE VERSION IS AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
