I think Ann Arbor should be grateful to host the Hash Bash than to have to deal with this crap...stoners are passive, people who are drunk are destructive. Great that both events happened on the same day, shows the hypocrisy in marijuana prohibition when this is what happens when a mass of people get together under the influence of alcohol.

everyone needs to chill out, i dont see why people are saying msu is getting a bad name. yea a few stupid people did go to far but most of them do not attend msu anyways. the media and people are making this seem way bigger than it was.

Great, a bunch of drunks out on the streets & they complain because they "don't remember" it being THAT bad.

the only thing really "destroyed" before the tear gas went off was a stop sign. no property damage. cop car windows were broken after the tear gas was launched.
I attended both events, and feel that the cedar fest situation is being portrayed unfairly. I also feel that if cedarfest had been organized and had an attraction such as a band or some shit like that, it would have never ended up violent
