Lovitz didnt kill the show, the show already had its heart ripped out when Hartman got shot by his cocaine induced jealous bitch of a wife, on a drug bender which probably wouldnt of happened if she hadnt relapsed when Dick gave her cocaine ( not 2 say she wouldnt of relapsed anyway.. )
in any case, the show was never gonna go past 5 seasons after the tragedy, and personally i thought he did a great job trying to fill the void that was left - had some seriously big shoes to fill.

Well Lovitz "killed" this show within a yr. So how that worthless turd who gets 1 minute cameos in Sandlers movies the last 15 yrs (or wouldnt know alive?) dont have no business talking crap. Guy is douche bag! Ya Andy Dick gave Phil`s wife cocaine one night, except it was about a yr before the murder suicide, so Jon is worse at knowing his fact then his acting! THATS INCREDIBLE!!!

That is so wrong. Phil never was into drugs, his wife was a recovering drug addict. Jon Lovitz blames Andy for giving Phil's wife drugs, making her relapse and eventually killing her husband and committing suicide 5 months later. Andy also walked up to him at a club and said, "I put the Phil Hartman curse on you, you're the next one to die!" Hence, why they hate each other.
