Lyrics A Message on the Road
One day
I will come, and bring a message.
I will pour light into veins.
And will cry out: O' whose baskets are full of sleep!
I brought you apples, the red apple of the sun
I will present to the beggar a jasmine flower.
I will give the pretty leper woman a gift of earrings.
I will tell the blind man: The garden is so spectacular!
I will be a peddler, peddle through alleys and cry out:
Dew, dew, dew.
A passerby will say: honestly, tonight is a dark night,
I will give her the Milky Way.
There is a legless girl on the bridge,
I will put a constellation of stars around her neck.
I will take away all the curses on the lips.
I will tear down all the walls.

روزی خواهم آمد و پیامی خواهم آورد
در رگ ها نور خواهم ریخت
و صدا در داد ای سبدهاتان پر خواب سیب آوردم سیب سرخ خورشید

خواهم آمد گل یاسی به گدا خواهم داد
زن زیبای جذامی را گوشواری دیگر خواهم بخشید
كور را خواهم گفتم : چه تماشا دارد باغ
دوره گردی خواهم شد كوچه ها را خواهم گشت جار خواهم زد : آی شبنم شبنم شبنم
رهگذاری خواهد گفت : راستی را شب تاریكی است كهكشانی خواهم دادش
روی پل دختركی بی پاست دب اكبر را بر گردن او خواهم آویخت

هر چه دشنام از لب خواهم برچید
هر چه دیوار از جا خواهم بركند
رهزنان را خواهم گفت : كاروانی آمد بارش لبخند
ابر را پاره خواهم كرد
من گره خواهم زد چشمان را با خورشید ‚ دل ها را با عشق سایه ها را با آب شاخه ها را با باد
و به هم خواهم پیوست خواب كودك را با زمزمه زنجره ها
بادبادك ها به هوا خواهم برد
گلدان ها آب خواهم داد

خواهم آمد پیش اسبان ‚ گاوان ‚ علف سبز نوازش خواهم ریخت
مادیانی تشنه سطل شبنم را خواهم آورد
خر فرتوتی در راه من مگس هایش را خواهم زد
خواهم آمد سر هر دیواری میخكی خواهم كاشت
پای هر پنجره ای شعری خواهم خواند
هر كلاغی را كاجی خواهم داد
مار را خواهم گفت : چه شكوهی دارد غوك
آشتی خواهم داد

آشنا خواهم كرد
راه خواهم رفت
نور خواهم خورد
دوست خواهم داشت...
