Chapter 10!
Three hours and it felt like nothing has happened. I didn't realise the pain was away while I was cuddling with Nick. But when the thought came up to me, I looked at my body. Not a scratch or scar was spotted. I felt so new! I quickly got out of the bed and looked in th mirror. Nick followed wrapping his arms around my body keeping me secure in them. I smiled at myself. It looked like nothing had happened. I looked at Nick and smiled.
"Can I go see my baby now?" I asked. He smiled nodding. I smiled pushing him on the bed, playing with him before running out.
"HEY!" He yelled. I was halfway down the hall when I felt his arms wrapped around me and halt me in my place. I laughed as he fell on his back with me on top. I turned around and laid on him.
"You should know I'm faster and stronger than you, you silly girl." Nick smiled tapping my nose. I wrinkled it, sticking out my tongue. He chuckled. When he looked away, I gave him a quick puppy dog kiss making him look at me shocked.
"Oh, you are so going to get it." He smiled. I squeeled standing up and running downstairs. I could hear Nick follow!
"MOMMY!" Junior got out of Joe's arms and ran to me and jumped in my arms.
"Careful, buddy!" Nick said a little worried.
"Oh sorry baby sista." Junior looked down at my tummy and set his hand on it. Me and Nick chuckled.
"How do you know it's a girl Nick?" I asked him. He smiled showing his teeth.
"I just have a feeling!" He smiled. I set him down and he hugged my leg.
"Love you mommy." He looked up.
"Love you more sweetie." I smiled messing up his hair. He ran off and jumped into Cam's arms this time. Lana leaned her head on his shoulder and smiled messing with Junior. Nick put his arm around me.
"I still have to get you back." He whispered in his ear. I nudged him with my elbow.
"We'll see about that." I smirked.
"You're going to get it when you least expect it." He murmured looking around smirking. I rolled my eyes and turned to see the front door open. Josh and Sarah walked in. Josh breathed in relief.
"Thank god you're okay!" Josh walked over and hugged me.
"Hey Josh." I laughed hugging him back. He pulled away and smiled.
"So glad I was able to kill one of those bastards." He smirked.
"You killed one?" I asked.
"He killed the leader." Nick said. My eyes widened making Josh laugh.
"YOU DID!?" I yelled.
"Yeah, while everybody went for the werewolves that attacked you, I thought I should get rid of the remainder. Wasn't hard at all." He smirked in triomph.
"Demons can kill werewolves easily." Nick smiled.I laughed.
((Two Hours Later))
*Nick's POV*
I was so happy Marissa is feeling better and pain free. I sat on the bed with the guitar on my lap. I messed with a couple of strings. I wanted to make a full song out of the one I just made up today. I heard the door creak open and I looked up to see Josette peeking in. I smiled.
"Come in." I said. She smiled opening the door more for herself and walked in.
"What's up?" I asked, setting down the guitar.
"Can you do me a favor?" Josette asked. I furrowed my eyes but nodded.
"Sure, what is it?"
"Marissa asked me to sing at the wedding reception. She wants to me find the perfect song. She wanted me to write it. But I'm clueless!" She said with frustration.
"And you want me to...?" I asked.
"I know you write songs Nick. You write better ones then me. I think it would be more romantic if I sang a song you wrote while you guys have your first dance." Josette answered. I nodded sort of agreeing with her.
"So do you have a song, you know that would be perfect?" She asked. I curled my lip standing up. I grabbed a box from under the bed and pulled it out.
"What's that?" Josette asked.
"A box of songs that I've written." I said unlocking it. A big pile of papers fell out. I looked at them, they were good, but not perfect. I grabbed the last peice of paper at the bottom of the box and opened it up. I smiled to myself.
"This one." I said. "It's perfect."
