Burlington, N.C., traffic stop

This video contains excerpts from a Jan. 8, 2010, traffic stop by Alamance County sheriff's deputies. The deputies stopped a truck containing three Hispanic men.The driver, whom the sherifff's office said was 14, wasn't charged. The truck's two passengers, Jorge Vazquez and Esteban Flores Guzman, were each charged with two counts of trafficking in cocaine and one count apiece of resisting a public officer and possessing drug paraphernalia. The sheriff's office initially said the arrests were the result of a routine traffic stop.
In June, about two months after attorney Octavis White began representing Vazquez, the Alamance County District Attorney's Office told White that deputies had been surveilling Vazquez for two days before the stop, and that deputies had additional evidence not included in the original discovery provided to the defense. In court documents in July and August, White questioned what prompted the stop and asked for all discovery materials. District Attorney Pat Nadolski said recently that White has received all discovery in the case. 1 officer being "FIRED" isnt the same as the "Officers" were fired. and the officers I can make out still work there. I have court cases 2 to 4 times a week. so they were not fired or they were rehired....dont know which but they still wear ACSO uniforms. and theirs nothing wrong with the stop here anyways...drugs are drugs...go straight to jail

@LTCARROLL1 - @LTCARROLL1 - I never said or wrote that multiple officers were fired. Even if Cpl. Apple has since been rehired, he was most definitely fired. He told me so himself. You seem to have a problem with reading comprehension.

@LTCARROLL1 - I checked today (Feb. 15, 2011) with Sherry Hook, Alamance County's human resources director. She said Cpl. Mike Apple has NOT been rehired by the county. So now, I guess the question is, where do you get your information? Your source must not be very reliable.

Cpl. Mike Apple, the deputy whose car camera captured video of the stop, was fired on Dec. 3 because “his services were no longer needed,” said Sherry Hook, the county’s human resources director. Apple had worked at the department since Oct. 1, 2005.

Apple said he was fired on Nov. 29.

The Burlington police have BEEN racist they've just hidden it for too long.

Officer Poston arrested me some years back and took me to Graham jail for a trespassing charged that ended up being dismissed, but while I was there he told C.O. Knight to give me "the treatment". I didn't know what meant until 3 held me down and C.O. White stood on my head literally sprayed me with pepper spray and put me in isolation for 3 days so I couldn't make a phone call to let anyone know where I was.
