@spikeyeyerish Germans were the pioneers: nuclear fission (hahn), rocket science (braun), tv tube (braun), computer (zuse), the jet aircraft (Messerschmidt/Luftwaffe) and so on... the Americans invented the direct current, the electric chair and the atomic bomb. bravo! PS You have forgotten Airbus...

America has the Top Engineering universities in the world. Not to mention you have to be a US citizen to work on a lot of Aerospace due to ITAR regulations.

I think it is fanny, even terrorist will laugh, and say: WOW what an idea the next time we strape the bomb on this car, drive right in the midle of the crowd detonat it kill them all and drive away. The bomber live to bomb an other day
