Robert Enke Photo Tribute

Robert Enke died on November 10, 2009 after he hurled himself onto the tracks and killed himself with a train from Bremen heading to Hannover. It was not in any ordinary spot though. This spot was 200 meters away from where his daughter, Lara is burried.

It came out the day after that Robert had been fighting a long and tough battle with depression, and that he had been planning this for a great deal of time.

I am with everyone when I say, thank you Robert. Not only for what you did for Hannover 96, but what you did for German football in general.

I decided to choose this song because of the fact that this song was the goodbye song for the actual singer, Aaliyah. The song was Aaliyah's final song she recorded because she died as well.

Song: Miss You by Aaliyah

There is a photo where you can't make out the words that well because they were written in chalk. It says, "Lara, Papa kommt." This translates to, "Lara, papa's coming."

Lara was the name of the Enke's child who passed away due to complications of heart surgery.
