Her hamstring muscle was damaged at age 3 and as it healed, it contracted, which causes her to have the appearance of a "short step". We have been riding her very regularly now and it gets less and less noticeable as she gets in better shape. P. S. - She was and has been seen for this by a premier Equine Specialist in South/Central Texas (originally at A & M) for this and he said it is causes her no discomfort and is "normal" for her.
